Request for translation quotes from freelance translators / translation agencies
German > Swedish: electrical engineering, 20-50k words/month
Our translation agency is looking for German-Swedish technical translators.
Subject:
The translation of the e-catalog, print catalog and database of our German client in the fields of electrical engineering.
Translation volume:
o preferably 2500 words/day, but flexible
o 30 – 50 000 words monthly
Requirements:
• excellent Swedish language skills (native)
• excellent knowledge of German
• college degree
• reliable MS Office skills
• general knowledge of CAT tools
• stable Internet connection
• at least two years of experience as a technical specialist translator
• technical degree (in electrical engineering or mechanical engineering)
Advantage, not a must:
• knowledge of Across (we will provide Across mobile licences, no investment )
• degree in translation
Project description:
After processed in Across, the translations are sent to our client for review in PDF format and the final phase of the translation process is to update the translated files based on the changes made in the PDF documents by our client.
After the evaluation of your application we will ask you to complete a test translation of no more than 250 words.
