Potential request for translation quotes from freelance translators (no agencies please)
English > Thai: IT and marketing translator needed
We are in need of more qualified translators (EN> Thai) for IT and marketing area urgently.
Interested parties meeting below criteria, please send forth your applications.
Minimum Requirements:
1) 3 years continuous translation experience in a commercial environment
2) Specialized in IT & Software projects with proven track record
3) Excellent practical knowledge of Trados (Multi-term preferred), MS Office and/or other CAT tools
4) Profound native language writing skills
5) Good Chinese writing and communication skills
6) Own SDL Trados 2007 tool
7) Flexible, short turnaround and prompt response are required
When submit your application, please attach your latest CV, and indicate the following:
1) your specialized area(s).
2) your best per word rate in USD TRA
3) your best per hour rate and per word rate in USD for REV
4) your daily output for TRA and REV respectively
5) your major clients, and at least 3 customer referees for our further evaluation. You may also indicate your professional experience in the specialized area we required. Let us know better your capability.
6) some of your recent translations for our reference
Please note we will only use you for translation into your native tongue and for projects that are targeted for the country in which you reside.
