Techno-thriller novel from an Italian author with Political Science degree and a master (UC Berkeley). The novel has reached the final (10 best novels of 2011 out of 3200 participants) in the National Writing contest sponsored by Feltrinelli Editore (1 of the 4 major publisher in Italy). Writing style similar to Crichton/Grisham. Translator MUST be VERY good at translating idiomatic sentences in English (better American English) while keeping the same suspense feeling pervading the novel.
Book's action is set in 2009, mainly in Florida. It is about a group of six scientists discovering a strange object dated back 250 million years that reveals an ugly truth. CIA, Mossad and an outsider kick in for a breathless hunt that lead to a very unexpected end.
