Potential request for translation quotes from freelance translators (no agencies please)
English > Portuguese (Brazil): Seeking long-term cooperation with Brazilian PT translator with Studio
Dear colleagues,
for our long-term client, we are looking for a long-term partnership with a freelance translator with Trados Studio 2009/2011.
Translations will be in the area of software IT, GUI, documentation for power/gas/water management systems.
The right candidate will have a good working knowledge of Studio, and wil be able to complete TM maintenance tasks as well as translations.
NO AGENCIES - NO SUBCONTRACTING
The right candidate will be guaranteed long-term work if he is meticulous, follows the TM strictly, and can work sometimes to tight deadlines and in accordance with instructions.
The client maintains an own translation department in-house, and a contact for queries will be provided via GoogleDoc.
Please state relevant experience and envisaged new word rate.
