The position is comprised entails full-time employment (8 hours, Mo-Fr, flexible schedule) and a monthly salary paid with all social security contributions. Successful candidates can take up employment immediately and will get to sign a 3 months contract.
German Game Translators
Your Responsibilities:
Translate game-related text from English to German
Translate, edit or proofread marketing or technical material
Report project process to managers or project leads
Work together with a team to define a consistent voice and translation style for each project
Testing and quality control
Possible additional team lead responsibilities for the German team
Your qualifications:
French/German native speaker with excellent English (source language)
University degree as MA/BA in Translation Studies is a plus
Familiarity with modern slang, colloquial and technical terms in English and the target language
Experience editing spreadsheets and text documents
Experience with CAT tools like DVX2, Trados or Memoq is a plus
Familiarity with gaming terminology
