Potential request for translation quotes from freelance translators (no agencies please)
Japanese > English: US based Japanese Translators Required
THIS IS A REQUIREMENT FOR US BASED LINGUISTS OR LINGUISTS RESIDING IN A SIMILAR TIME ZONE.
We are currently looking to create a number of linguist networks for an on-going project with one of our major clients. The material is described as ‘general’ however relates more specifically to health and safety and compliance of consumable goods and general customer service documents. It is essential that candidates are comfortable with material of this nature.
Although we cannot confirm exact volumes, we are expected to receive jobs from the client on a daily basis which will then be distributed amongst linguists by a Network Leader.
It is imperative that linguists work with Trados, more specifically, a version that is compatible with 2007 files.
The language combination that we are currently looking for is:
• Japanese into English
Requirements:
Minimum 1 years full time translation experience
Trados (please note that we are unable to work with Trados 2009)
Willingness to complete a short test piece
US based (or similar time zone)
Preferred:
Translation into English mother tongue
