Our company brings patients, physicians and the healthcare industry together to share information, enhance disease understanding and participate in medical marketing research. In order to develop more effective medicines and communication materials for patients and physicians, the healthcare industry requires more insightful customer data.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Work from Home
Our copmpany is actively looking for several freelance medical transcription/translation contractors. This role would require you to take our audio files (average length of 10 minutes) and:

Transcribe them into the applicable local language;
Provide an English version of the transcription; and

We are offering to pay $15USD per audio recording (regardless of length – some may be shorter some longer) that these 2 steps are completed on. In addition we are offering an additional $5 USD for every transcript that is de-identify (anonymize) both the audio and transcripts (ie. Remove names, addresses etc.) and an additional $5 USD for every transcript (other than your own) that you quality control check for our company; therefore, a total of $25 USD for each file that is worked on.

Finally there may be opportunities for other work where we will pay $20USD/hour for any non-written work.

We will be working with the following languages:
Portuguese (Brazil)

If you are selected, our company will send you a link to a website with sample file(s) for you to perform steps 1 and 2 above - as a test. If the quality of your work matches our standards then we will move forward with setting up a consulting contract. You will have the flexibility to do as much, or as little, work as you would like.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be native speaker for applicable language
Must be advanced in English (both written and oral)
Must have experience with medical transcription
Must have accesses to a computer and high speed internet
