Potential request for proof-reading quotes from freelance translators (no agencies please)
Deutsch > Englisch: English (BE or AE) native speaker living in Germany needed
I am looking exclusively for an English (BE or AE) native speaker living in Germany who is skilled in all fields of medicine, especially in surgery and gastroenterology, for long-term and friendly cooperation. Experts, especially university students from the US or GB with in-depth medical knowledge, are welcome. Fluent German is not necessary but some elementary knowledge would be an advantage.
As a single freelance translator, I often get offers from special medical centers. Due to overwork and deadline pressure, I need sometimes a part-time employee, especially for proofreading and now and then for common translations. Reverse translations, where I could be your proofreader, are also possible. Residence in Germany would be a big asset, especially in the region of Magdeburg or Leipzig. If you are interested, give thought to a reasonable fee (price per word) and let me know your ideas. The next project could start soon.
