Request for translation quotes from freelance translators (no agencies please)
English > Korean: Approx. 10K words for an animal welfare NGO
Dear colleagues,
we will be receiving a text of approx. 10,000 words on Feb. 17 (an exact word count is not yet available), which will have to be translated AND proofread within calendar 15 days. As mentioned above, the client is a high profile NGO for animal protection and welfare, and we translate their projects at cost price in support of their efforts, as they survive from donations only.
As we understand, the text will be mostly general, with no specialist terminology, but with a leaning towards marketing - i.e. it should read well and as an original text, rather than a translation.
We are looking for quotes from individuals with Trados 2007, Trados Studio 2009/2011, or MemoQ - ABSOLUTELY NO AGENCIES.
We are hoping to appeal to individuals, who feel as strongly about animal rights as we do, and who will be able to reflect that in their offered rates for translation or proofing.
While we do not believe in paying ridiculously low rates for good work, we do have a certain budget for this project.
