“A Time to Rest and be Refreshed”

If we expect to be effective as God’s Modern Day Millionaires, we must take some time to rest. Rest is one of the greatest ways to relieve stress. If you are about to take on a special project or if you are about to be thrust into another level of ministry or business, you must get away and just rest. Even if you have just finished a major task or project, take some time to rest. You need to give your body and mind the time to restore itself.
So often, leaders are not effective because they make major decisions while going through a burnout. We should never make major decisions without taking time to be refreshed. King Solomon left us another Wisdom Key for Greater Success, look at what he said: “The liberal person shall be enriched, and he who waters shall himself be watered” (Proverbs 11:25). What Solomon is telling us is the person who is always being a blessing or enriching others should also be enriched, and the one who is always refreshing others should himself also be watered. The word to be watered simply means he should be refreshed or well rested.
