English <> German / Turkish: On site secondary validation in Minneapolis MN Medical 7-14-7/21

We have a unique and exciting opportunity for a translator to be able to provide onsite secondary validation services for our client in Minneapolis MN (Plymouth area 55441). This on site translation/proofreading project will last two full days, and will be for English, <=> DE & TR. Each translator will spend one full day getting a crash course on our clients GUI system (Graphical User Interface) on day one. Day two will be dedicated to updating the software based on the notes that were compiled during day one.

The system being validated is software system for a technology company located in Plymouth – this project will be done on site at their company headquarters. As part of their special project requirements, we are seeking a translator who will be able to be onsite in order to review/validate their translated software platform in tandem with someone who will be going through all of the device functions to make sure the translations are correct. We anticipate this will take two full days and the translator will need to be on site from approx 8:00 am to 4:00 pm each day. Lunch and ample break times will be provided.

Applicants must have the following credentials:
• Minimum two years experience editing/proofreading translations medical documents, emphasis in software is a plus.
• Background in Medical translations, software, IT and marketing.
• Previous experience with on site validation (minimum of two or more previously completed projects)
• Must be able to pass a brief translation test if needed (300 words)
• Must have 4 year recognized degree (in any subject matter is okay)

We currently have a rough schedule of July 14th through July 21 In order to get this project completed.

We are able to offer a rate of $55.00 per hour + Mileage reimbursement, parking etc… (Rate is negotiable for the right applicant).
