Translations from EU languages for the European Parliament

We are looking for professional freelance translators from all EU languages into Romanian for a long-term project of translations for the European Parliament to be tendered for 2016-2019.
WHO WE ARE
In the past 10 years our Agency has been holding 2 of the main EP translation contracts. As an acknowledged and longstanding partner of the EP and several other European bodies we therefore aim at offering our experience even further.
WHAT WE HAVE TO OFFER
In case of quality production, translating for the EP offers an access to translation jobs on regular daily/weekly basis. To this end our agency provides all the necessary training and support when building stable and open relationship with its freelance partners – key to both short- and long-term success.
WHAT IS REQUIRED
The texts for translation cover a variety of subject matters related to all aspects of European affairs and therefore require at least basic knowledge of EU terminology and jargon – thus an extensive experience with translation of EU legislation is of a great advantage.
Since we have to provide information on qualification for each translator participating in the project, we are looking for professional freelance translators who fulfil the minimum level of qualification set by the European Parliament for a translator to be considered acceptable:
1) University degree - successful completion of university level studies in any discipline
PLUS
2) at least two years’ experience with professional translation (and/or revision), preferably in the EU field.
