JOB DETAILS
I. LANGUAGE PAIRS:
• SCH (Simplified Chinese) > ENG
• TCH (Traditional Chinese) > ENG
• MAN (Mandarin) > ENG (audio files)

II. JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
• Services: Translation
• Client: Government Agencies
• Term of Contract: 1 year (with possible extension up to 4 years)
• Content: Documents from the US Government
• Volume: Very HIGH
• Projects Starting Date: September 2014
• Signing of “Non-Disclosure Agreement”: Required
• Vendor Employment Status: Vendors will be hired as EMPLOYEES our company.
- As Full-time Employees: PREFERRED (with 40 hrs per week)
- As Part-time Employees: Possible
• Health Insurance: Available after 60 days of hiring
• Starting Date of Testing: Middle of Aug, 2014
• Source File: PDF files & Word files
• Target Files: Word files

III. TRANSLATORS NEEDED:
• 80 per language pair
Notes:
- This is the estimated number of vendors.
- However, the projects will start with the available vendors in our list.
- Vendors will be recruited and hired during the contract term (1-4 years) whenever necessary.
- Therefore, this is an on-going recruiting process during the duration of the contract to allow qualified vendors to apply during the contract term.

IV. VENDOR QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENT:
• US Based: REQUIRED
• Native Speakers of English: Preferred, but NOT required
• Experiences: Required
• Pre-employment Background Check: Required
• Test: Required (Testing will begin in the middle of August after contract award.)
• CAT Tool Users (Trados): Preferred, but NOT required
• Information Required:
a) Most Current Resume

b) Your rate/price for translation: Per-word rate, hourly rate, minimum rate, etc.
c) Your language pair(s)
(If you provide translation services for MORE than one language pair, please indicate the specific language pairs in your responses.)
• Daily Output: 1,500+: Expected
• Location: Working from home.
• Translation Quality: Must be accurate, consistent and match the source documents.
