Dear Translators,
The text to be proofread has been written by someone with weak knowledge of English - there is no German original.
Thus the text should be proofread by a bilingual native speaker (German/English).
As the text is politically critical you should not travel to the US anymore after having done the proofreading because it could cause some difficulties. This also means that US citizen should not to this job.
You should have a university diploma and an excellent knowledge both of German and English. Ideally you have your degrees from several countries.
The text has 800 words.

This temperature rise will shift the agricultural usable zone from the United States to (northern) Canada. The United States will become a desert from coast to coast and from north to south.
It will become nearly impossible to produce any plant food like corn, wheat and so on inside the United States.
Currently there is still some kind of friendship between Canada and the United States.

der Text, der korrektur zu lesen ist, wurde von jemand mit schwachen Englisch-Kenntnissen in Englisch verfasst - es gibt also kein deutsches Original.
Hier muss also ein bilingualer Mutterspracher (Deutsch/US-Englisch) Korrektur lesen.
Da der Text politisch kritisch ist, sollte auf eine Einreise in die USA mit dem Datum des Korrekturlesens verzichtet werden können, die ist dann vielleicht so einfach nicht mehr möglich. Das heißt, dass USA Inländer nicht in Frage kommen.
Als Qualifikation sezte ich einen Hochulabschluss voraus sowie eine exzellente Beherrschung sowohl der deutschen als auch der englischen Sprache. Im Idealfall haben Sie die mehrstaatliche Anerkennung als Übersetzer.
