Our client is global supplier of automotive test systems including the manufacturing of test equipment and the accompanying software. It provides engine test systems, driveline test systems, brake test systems, wind tunnel balances and emissions test systems.
We have recently secured a contract to translate their help manuals and software into German. There are 50,000 words to be translated.
The source material is highly technical and complex. You will have sound understanding of automotive testing (and the engineering behind it) and software and use at least Studio 2009, preferably Studio 2014 or 2011. Legacy TMs will procured from the client before the project begins.
In order to be considered for this flagship project, please submit your latest CV, giving a full overview of relevant experience (number of projects, size of projects, types of project, end clients) and also your rates, including discounts for fuzzy matches.
If appropriate, you will be asked to complete an unpaid test piece of 309 words which will be submitted to the client for selection.

Hot-pluggablemode EtherCAT segment modules can be taken out or plugged in during normal operation. STARS currently provides a somewhat restricted support for hot-pluggable segments: All EtherCAT Slaves in the EtherCAT segment have to be marked as hot-pluggable, even if the Slaves are a fixed part of the segment.
