Potential request for translation quotes from freelance translators (no agencies please)
Automotive translator, Infotainment Strings, Studio
Our client is a globally known luxury car manufacturer who we have worked with since 1998 on a large number of technical projects (owner handbooks, servicing, diagnostics, fitting locations, engineering).
We are currently looking to recruit Bosnian, Croatian, Slovak, Slovenian, Serbian and Cantonese (for Hong Kong) translators with technical experience in the automotive industry for an upcoming project involving the translation of in-car infotainment strings. Can you please provide me with a copy of your current CV, details of relevant experience, and your current rates: matt.cuXXX@XXXimatur.co.uk.
The recruitment process will consist of completing an test piece so that you can demonstrate your expertise in this area. The test piece will be unpaid, however you will be given first refusal on this project and any future projects for this client that relate to this area of expertise.
Use of Trados Studio (2011/2014) is essential.
