Français > Anglais Américain : Corriger et améliorer une romance contemporaine, 30000 mots
Il s'agit pas à proprement parler de traduction, mais d'une relecture attentive, critique et constructive, visant à corriger et à améliorer - d'un point de vue linguistique - le texte d'un roman que j'ai rédigé directement en anglais (je suis de langue maternelle française, et je pratique l'anglais couramment, sans garantie de perfection toutefois!).
Le roman fait 30 000 mots. Il s'agit d'une romance contemporaine, visant un public féminin (+ de 16 ans). A priori plutôt "jeunes adultes".
L'histoire se déroule en large partie à New York.
Je souhaiterais m'assurer qu'il n'y a pas d'erreurs et que le style est au plus proche de ce qu'un Américain pourrait écrire ou dire (il y a beaucoup de dialogues). C'est pourquoi, je souhaiterais être relue de préférence par un traducteur - ou peut-être une traductrice - Américain (e). De préférence aussi par une personne qui aime lire des romances et puisse me faire un premier feedback sur l'histoire !

I rushed out of the subway. I was pretty late for my weekly rendezvous with the International Culture Club, also referred to as ‘the Club’ by its members. The evening was colder than usual for the season in New York. We were end of May and the sky was threatening. I was almost there, when it started pouring rain. I’ve barely had the time to pick up a jacket and a chestnut cream macaroon at the apartment, after a job interview with a senior partner from Johnson & Co. I was still wearing my formal navy blue pants and an assorted pair of shoes which made me look very business-like.
