English > English: Editing services – Translation Centre for the Bodies of the European Union
PRESTO Translation Agency is currently looking for professional freelance editors for editing of English texts in various fields for a long-term project of editing services for the Translation Centre for the Bodies of the European Union to be tendered for 2016-2019.
In the past 11 years PRESTO Agency has been a longstanding and acknowledged partner of basically all of the EU bodies and we therefore aim at offering our experience even further. Lately we have won editing contracts with the Publication Office of the EU and most recently also 12 translations contracts with the European Parliament.
Since we have to provide information on qualification for each translator participating in the project team, we are looking for professional freelance editors who fulfil the minimum level of qualification set by the Translation Centre to be considered elligible:
1) University degree - successful completion of university level studies in translation or languages or in any other discipline
PLUS
2) the editing experience must be equivalent to 5 000 standard pages in English, in at least two of the following fields: European affairs, financial, medical, legal and technical (reference letters issued by a third party are necessary).
Additional fields covered by the editing experience of the tenderer are considered an asset.
