English > Slovak: Immediate requirement for Proofreader/Translator for Slovak

We are seeking Slovak Proofreaders and Quality Assurance Specialists on freelancer basis. Below is the detailed job description for your review. Please let me know your availability and send your latest word format resume and expected hourly rate if you are interested in this position.

The work involves performing post-translation review and editing of content to ensure the output content meets the client's standards and brand language guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• Proofread/Review and Edit content provided by the translation teams
• Correct terminology, grammatical errors and check for consistency with the style guides
• Ensure that all projects adhere to company standards for format, style and content
• Manage jobs in a proactive manner and deliver high quality results

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience as a Proofreader/Reviewer of IT (software and hardware) and marketing related content.
• Excellent written language skills of English language and the target language.
• Attention to details, flexibility and self-reliance in work.

Tools requirements:

• Very good working knowledge of SDL Studio, MultiTerm,
• Working knowledge of SDL WorldServer, SDL Passolo, QA tools as well as experience in software localization would be an additional advantage
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, HTML, Acrobat and common content tools.
