We are looking for experienced translators to work on academic manuscripts written in Japanese. You have the potential to earn up to USD 4500 per month (based on regular availability)

Job Description
• Accurately conveying the meaning of the source text
• Researching legal, technical, and scientific phraseology to find the appropriate terms
• Editing/proofreading your translation to produce a grammatically correct final version

Prerequisites
• Proficiency in Japanese and English (essential)
• An understanding and knowledge of technical terminology
• Expertise/an advanced degree in any of the following fields:
o Economics/Finance
o Humanities and Social Sciences
o Medicine & Life Sciences
o Physical Sciences & Engineering
o Psychology
• Relevant certification or training, e.g., MA in translation studies (preferred but not essential)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Japanese to English translation (preferred but not essential)
