French > English: Freelance translators for technical texts
We are a publishing company based in Wimbledon. We cover a wide variety of scientific subjects and have successfully maintained a high quality over all of our books for over a decade now. One of our most successful ventures has been introducing the works of French researchers to the English speaking world, and as such we require experienced and specialist translators to translate these books for their eventual worldwide release.
We require any applicants to perform a short translation sample in order for us to validate the quality of their work. Upon validation, we are able to provide a continuous stream of work, and the translator will be offered a project immediately.
Our rate is £6 per translated page, this includes figures and tables.
Please send over a copy of your CV if you are interested.
All of our translators must use Microsoft Word.
Any knowledge of the formatting software LaTeX would be greatly appreciated, however it is not necessary.
