We are looking for talented Terminologists in translation for a long-term onsite position in Dublin, Ireland to work with terminology related tasks for a high-ranking Global IT client who is specialized in online advertising and web-based IT services.
Position Requirements :
General project management of our client’s terminology.
Receive source terms & triage.
Write/improve definitions.
Validate and send terms for translation.
Monitor terminology translation requests.
Upload translated terms to a term base.Mining new terms with Acrolinx mining tool and creating new glossaries.
Term base maintenance.
Documenting terminology process.
Providing training on terminology to stakeholders.
Involvement in special projects such as terminology clean-ups.
Collection and monitoring of terminology metrics.
Contribution to optimizing terminology processes and tools Troubleshooting.
Participate in the terminology taskforce.
Attend regular or ad hoc meetings (regularity determined by the Client).
Give feedback and provide suggestions regarding terminology workflow, tools (Acrolinx, GTT) to participants and other stakeholders working on terminology.
