English > Japanese: Japanese copywriters and proofreaders for onsite position in Tokyo, Japan
We are recruiting for a skilled translator that is looking to challenge themselves in the field of Marketing and IT. This is an Onsite leadership role where you would be responsible for ensuring linguistic quality & services in Japanese for all translation & review vendors.
The optimal candidate is a Native Japanese speaker with:
• Excellent writing skills.
• Excellent English skills.
• 3+ years of experience in translation.
• Eagerness to acquire new knowledge.
• Candidates should be comfortable with CAT tools.
• Ability to check the details and revise accurately.
• In-depth knowledge of IT and marketing industry.
• Fluency in <Insert Language> and the ability to transliterate.
• Experience in using CAT tools such as Trados or Wordfast.
• Support Language Manager on review deep dives meetings.
• Likes to work in a team and to communicate in both English and Japanese.
• Ability to translate UIs accurately and a good understanding of user support documents.
Job description: Perform Review work, QA, Provide feedback to translators & reviewers for improvement.
Specialization: Marketing, IT, Online advertising
Salary: Negotiable.
Workload: 40 hours per week.
