Freelance English Language Quality Controller
Job Description
Spot and correct mistakes on
Spelling
Grammar
Sentence structure
Context
Adhere to the client’s timed-text style guide in correcting subtitles.
Provide quality checking for all files as assigned.
Liaise with other freelancers to decide and settle language-related issues.
Perform other related duties, as necessary.
Qualifications
Native or Native-like level of proficiency in English (American or British) with a good command of both colloquial and written forms of the language.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Previous experience in proofreading and timecoding is an advantage.
Positive, can-do spirit, proactive, result-driven, and resourceful.
Willing to learn new things and enjoys new challenges.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment and within limited time constraints.
Conditions:
• This is a freelancing position with no limitation as to the location.
