Request for voice over quotes from freelance translators / translation agencies
German > German: German voiceover audio recording
We have a data collection project that requires German natives to record their voice by reading the text we provided. We need at least 27 min's audio (around 500 short sentences) for each person. This project is to help the client to collect voice samples to develop their sound control smart devices.
We need multiple resources for this project.
Please find the following details:
A. How?
The tool you need is just your phone, we will let you choose your device system and provide a voice recording platform accordingly, so you can start hassle free!
B. What to record?
Simply read the text provided on the platform, mainly about news, convo or imperative phrases, etc.
C. What else you should know about the recording of the demo?
When making the demo, you should be careful with the following:
Ø Record naturally with no accent, please find the provided standard accent demo as your reference: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1J6jUeLbXCH7ggG9Aa-wJx9Lkj2yzKa7R/view?usp=sharing;
Ø Stay 20-30 cm away from the mic, making sure your voice is clear and stable;
Ø Leave a pause between each line;
Ø Quiet background;
Currently we’re processing the content for recording, we’ve made it clear and simple to read.
More important is, we need 2000 different audios for German.
In order to control the voice’s accent and quality, we need to evaluate the applicant's demo first.
Offered rate: $25 per audio.
