English > Japanese: Linguistic testers for hidden object games (Japanese)
Our Games Localization department is looking for Japanese speakers to join our team as linguistic testers.
Please note: this is a 100% REMOTE job, project based
Project: hidden object puzzle games with lots of story text
Status: ongoing
Details: The games are already being tested by us, they are constantly updated and we receive new builds for testing regularly, so you can expect to have a stable workload. We may receive new 2-6 hours batches for testing once or twice a week or up to 40 hours once a month. Deadlines are set according to the client for every new testing task. The games that we work on are quite enjoyable, and there’s always feedback from the game devs in case we have questions. Everybody on our team is friendly and ready to help.
Requirements:
1. High proficiency of the target language (Japanese), English - high written proficiency (you need to be able to easily communicate and report bugs in it).
2. A PC with Windows 10/11 to run game builds.
3. Linguistic testing experience (Various combinations of translation/linguistics experience, solid knowledge of language rules, testing/QA experience, and readiness to learn can also work)
4. Passion for games would be a great bonus :)
