Hello,
I am part of a Global Services for Machine Intelligence Recruitment Team.
We are an American company with headquarters in Massachusetts (USA) and offices in 26 countries. We deliver translation and localization, global content management, and application testing services to the world’s top brands. Currently we are looking for Hmong native speakers to participate in our paid Language Research Project.
We are helping to develop modern speech recognition systems for computers and mobile devices and is now starting a Hmong Language Research Project, which consists of collecting voice samples in Hmong. The task is simple and does not require any specific knowledge or previous experience.
It is required that you are a native speaker. However, participants can be located anywhere in the world can participate as the task can be done easily from home. You are required to have either an Android phone, or Android tablet. Alternatively, you may also use any computer with Chrome browser, an internet connection, and a quiet space to make your recordings. You cannot use iOS device to complete this task.
Here are all the project details to get you started:
Language Research Project (participant’s age 18+):
Duration of this task: Up to 2 hours
Task description: The participants will see sentences in Hmong and will need to record their voice while reading them aloud.
Compensation offered: 40 USD (once the task is completed). The payment will be done by PayPal or Direct Bank Transfer.
Estimated start date of this project: Immediate
