English > Tibetan: Hiring Freelance Tibetan Translators

We are a Services Entertainment Group and has been serving the global community for over 100 years as the leading integrated provider of media production, marketing, localization and delivery solutions for television shows, movies and commercials.

Our localization arm specializes in subtitling, closed captioning and translation services for major motion picture studios, film festivals, broadcast, streaming, and cable networks, and is currently seeking qualified Native Tibetan Freelance Translators to work on our high-profile content.

Main Duties
• Translating from Tibetan into English and English into Tibetan
• Proofreading and editing client-provided materials.
• Conforming existing scripts/subtitle files to required specifications of various clients.
Education, Experience and Competencies:
• Be a Native Speaker of Tibetan
• Possess strong knowledge of English.
• Have relevant education and/or experience related to translation, literature, journalism or communication.
• Can multitask on numerous projects, manage your time efficiently, and meet deadlines.
• Be an enthusiast of World Cinema & Entertainment.
We currently only have a small project ready for translation at present, but we are looking to collaborate long term.

Since English <> Tibetan is a language combination that we are recently venturing into, we would like to know your quoted rate for translation projects.
