Exemple du texte :
Title: The Great Calcutta Killing, August 1946.
EXT. CALCUTTA CITY WIDE SHOT - NIGHT. 1946.
A panorama of Calcutta from above, in 1946. Smoke is coming out of the houses from the coal fires.
We hear both shouts and cries, of men, women and babies. There is the sound of swords clashing and gunshots.
EXT. CALCUTTA - DAWN. 1946.
A desolate street, after the killings.
The silhouette of a small woman walking in quick and small steps, like a mouse. She goes from one street to another, avoiding the corpses.
She is looking for something in the shops on the side of the street.
We can make out now that the silhouette is of a catholic nun, in her typical black and white uniform. We assume it must be Teresa.
INT. GROCERY SHOP - DAWN. 1946
As we see her from behind, the catholic nun enters the shop and surveys the shelves.
There is nothing to sell, nothing to eat on the shelves.
The silhouette rightly belongs to Teresa - now 36 years old; she opens a cupboard, but it's also empty. Only some cigarettes are left to sell. She goes out.
She hears a sound behind her and turns promptly, to discover, in the frame of the shop's entrance, a MUSLIM FIGHTER, with a gun in his hand, menacing, blood over his body, his eyes like a madman. The Muslim fighter lifts his gun.
Teresa stands still, waiting for the shot, terrified.
The Muslim fighter freezes: a sword has just stabbed through his body. As he falls, we see a HINDU FIGHTER behind him, also in a murderous rage.
Teresa is petrified.
Then a bullet hits the Hindu fighter in the shoulder, and he runs away. An ENGLISH SOLDIER appears in the window, rifle in hand. He is surprised to see a nun.
SOLDIER # 1
What the hell are you doing here, sister!?
TERESA
I'm not a sister, I'm a mother!
A SECOND ENGLISH SOLDIER appears next to the first one.
SOLDIER # 2
I know her. She's from Entally.
TERESA
I have three hundred girls who are starving. I need to find some food !
SOLDIER # 2
We're taking you back home, mother.
TERESA
I won't return without food.
She stands her ground firmly.
The two soldiers look at each other. They seem to agree on something:
SOLDIER # 1
Alright, we'll give you some rice, mother. Come with us.
