3. St. James Church
The monastery was founded by Bishop Jan II for the Franciscan Order. First written evidence comes from 1233. Like most other buildings, it was destroyed during the Thirty Years’ War, and later rebuilt by Octavio Broggio in Late Baroque style between 1730 and 1740. The main altar from 1758 is the work of Johann Hennevogel of Ebenburg.
