A world leader in website localization, software localization, GMS (Globalization Management System) software products, and enterprise-level, professional translation services, is going to select an EN>French freelance translator to work on-site at our client's premises in Landersheim (near Strasbourg). Candidates must have previous experience in sports clothing/fashion/sports/marketing/ad contents, and ideally in copywriting/ad creation.
Job Description:
- The selected candidate will translate and adapt content (both digital and creative) and work closely with the client’s Country Managers and product experts to ensure that the style, tone and terminology is consistently used in all materials.
- This position is for one of our top international clients in the field of sports clothing. Therefore, experience in marketing/sports/fashion translations is required.
- Period: long-term, full time
- Start date: asap
- The linguist will work during regular office hours
Requirements:
- French (fr_FR) native translator living in the Strasbourg area or willing to relocate
- Strong knowledge of sports/clothing terminology, and love of sports
- Marketing writing skills in your mother tongue
- Experience in marketing/sports/fashion translation, adaptation and/or copywriting
- Willingness to work in an exciting, “sporty” and young office environment
- Experience with project management, task prioritization and scheduling
