The Lyceum of Isis of the Stars intends this book for use with the Fellowship of Isis (FOI) Adepti dramas, which have been modified to support solitary practitioners within the Fellowship. Lady Olivia Robertson created the dramas, in conjunction with her brother, Lord Lawrence Durdin-Robertson, over a period of several years in the early days of the Fellowship, and they were gathered into the Spiral of the Adepti program in 1999 in order to provide a means for Iseums to train and recognize the spiritual growth of their members.
The dramas are intended as liturgical texts for celebrating the many faces of the Goddess, as well as for spiritual initiations that transform individuals and further their spiritual growth. A member who has passed through the mystery associated with four or more dramas is considered an Adept; those Adepts who go on to train others are known as Spiral of Adepti Preceptors.
