Barbara R. Cochran, MFA  See profile asked this question:

Language pair:

Italian > Bashkir

Level of diffculty:

Easy / medium

Word or term in question:

adattamenti patetizzanti

Ennio scrisse molte opere in generi diversi. Particolarmente famose furono le sue tragedie, spesso adattamenti patetizzanti di opere greche.

pathetizing adaptations

My comment:

However odd and archaic it sounds, I'd go for it !!

"Patetizzante" is used in Italian, but only in academic writing.

Hope it helps !!
