Translators, Profreaders, Editors & Terminologists needed for upcoming projects in 2009

we are a high-level international agency assisting world-wide VIPs & business entities with time-sensitive, security intelligence, and global target projects.

We are interested in the services of certified language professionals for upcoming projects in January 2009 for the following industries:
1. Hotel, Travel & Tourism (including Space Tourism)
2. Natural Sciences (Physical & Life)
3. Formal Sciences (Systems)
4. Social Sciences (Economics & Political Science)
5. Applied Sciences (Health, Medical & Military)

Language professionals must have a minimum of 3 years full time experience or 6 years part time experience in their language profession; hold a degree in languages, linguistics, translations or a related field; and have formal education or equivalent work knowledge (minimum 2 years) in their chosen industry (environmental).

The candidates must have access to the following software/hardware either personally or via a network of colleagues:
- Microsoft Office Suite 97 or newer, MS Access 97 or newer, MS Publisher 97 or newer.
- Adobe InDesign, FrameMaker, PageMaker, Acrobat as well as Acrobat Reader.
- CAT and memory tools.
- Computer access, high-speed internet, where file-sharing service would be an asset as alternative to FTP.

We work with important international clients that process sensitive material, therefore references will be checked and certifications will also be confirmed.

Contracts, non-disclosure & privacy agreements will need to signed and faxed in.
