ad connaissance du client
cf https://www.tessi-blog.com/article/procedures-kyc-vers-une-reglementation-de-plus-en-plus-dense/#:~:text=Encadr%C3%A9es%20par%20la%20l%C3%A9gislation%20europ%C3%A9enne,et%20le%20financement%20du%20terrorisme.
KYC = Know Your Customer/Client --> mandatory check and entire procedure of identifying, verifying and validating an individual or corporate customer of a bank (in order to limit illegal activities i.e. tax fraud, corruption, terrorist financing, money laundering ...)
cf https://www.streammind.com/kyc-procedure-checking-the-identity-of-customers/
confirmation = any factual evidence that helps to establish the truth of something; some fact or statement is true through the use of documentary evidence; information that confirms or verifies ... etc (-> cf Def. New Thesaurus : https://www.thefreedictionary.com/confirmation)

Proof of knowing the client
My comment:
The french sentence means that this document proves that the advisor has met the client in real time or has got the complete documents of his identity and he certify by putting a signature that the client really exists and is known by the advisor. If we use the word 'knowledge' it will give another meaning here. So that's why I believe that 'proof of knowing the client' is the best answer.
