My comment:

Google images "presentation case + insignia"
Most would have lids, but I think case / box still fits even when there's no lid. Does yours have a lid?

Sorry, I was wrong - didn't read it carefully enough. The "plateau" is the tray inside the box, so I think "display tray" is probably right.
