This is more a riddle than a question. In any French dictionary, you will find that paner means "to bread", or as Isabel found, "to coat with breadcrumbs". However, "with a gauche et a droite", and given the clue in the asker's "name", I suspect that we are here looking at an anglicism based on the the English "to pan", which means "to move the camera lens left or right, and up or down"
