The answer of Gina W  See profile was rated best

assigning company

My comment:

My understanding is that this refers to the company (in the home country) that is sending the expatriate, usually called the assigning company. Also called the "assignor company", though that is also used for other types of agreements (merger, transfer), so I would go with "assigning company" to be clearer.

The asker's comment:

Another French expression (I forget exactly what) appeared later in the contract that could be translated as nothing other than "assigning company," referring to the one sending the employee to the host company, so I knew your translation had to be accurate. Thank You
