I am sorry about your loss.
You can use any of the options, as name translation is based on phonetical spelling. However, I suggest to see the source of the name. It may be called after a gransmother with a simmilar name like Matilda, or Natalie- that can help decideing if the name should be spelt with Teit or Tav. In any case no choice is a mistake as it is a foreign name.
