exchangeable during servicing

My comment:

i. e. when failure is noticed during regular service inspections
OR:
during/by the breakdown service
AND / OR:
This might belong to the exchangeable parts which are covered by a guarantee.

I WOULD SUGGEST ASKING THE CUSTOMER FOR THE EXACT MEANING.

Exchangeable in routine servicing

My comment:

That's what it OUGHT to mean, but I have a nagging doubt that this could possibly apply to valves in car engines?

I'm wondering about the *routine* servicing. I have a feeling that 'Servicefall' is a euphemism for 'Panne'! So the sense would be simply: The parts can at least be replaced if they go wrong (without having to replace the whole engine, for instance).
