My comment:

This probably isn't the best translation. I just wanted to explain what a brand standards test might be. When my husband worked for a major hotel company, a team from the company headquarters would come by the property on a regular basis to do a "quality assurance audit", to make sure the hotel was being kept up to the standards of that hotel brand (cleanliness, appearance of employees, offerings in the restaurant, room furnishings, landscaping, etc.) My guess is that this has to do with maintaining standards in a franchise.
