OYAMI (a guest user) asked this question:

Language pair:

Haitian Creole > English

Subject:

Other

Level of diffculty:

Easy / medium

Word or term in question:

AYIBOBO

Context:

RELIGIOUS

Keywords:

AFTER PRAYINGTHE WORD AYI BOBO

The answer of   See profile was rated best

amen or hallelujah

My comment:

It is also used in Vodoun as well, and means more or less let's praise the spirits of the earth.
It is also used in a non-religious context as a somewhat difficult to translate positive exclamation.
