My comment:

For the same purpose is what it means, however I think the difficulty is with the expression “saisies à mêmes fins”. This sounds like an “Attendu”, in English:
Whereas:
The jurisdictions that saw the same litigation brought before them have had several opportunities, in commercial as well as in civil matters, to confirm this principle of a right to immediate reimbursement.
