Disagree. How can a vehicle have a manufacturing capacity in tons? I think MFG here stands for Manufacturer, i.e: Nombre del vehiculo, fabricante, capacidad en toneladas.

Se trata de la capacidade del vehículo cuando fabricado, o sea, ha sido fabricado para llevar una carga de 1/2 tonelada. MFG. stands for manufacturing, not for manufacturer.

Maria is most likely looking at a Texas DOT vehicle certificate of title for a pick-up truck. They do have a strange line for "MFG. Capacity in tons". I say strange because it is hard to understand what the abbreviation MFG. means. This is what they say in the instructions for that line: Weight (in tons) determined by the heaviest load the vehicle is legally allowed to carry according to the vehicle manufacturer. I leave up to you to put it in Spanish.

Thank you, Claude, a very positive contribution. The translation I first proposed means that, but it may become clearer if we say somewhat different: CAPACIDAD ORIGINAL DE CARGA, EN TONELADAS
