Das Tourbillon (franz. für Wirbelwind) ist eine besondere Vorrichtung (meist) in Armband- und Taschenuhren, um einen Fehler der Ganggenauigkeit aus dem Schwerkrafteinfluss auszugleichen. Durch die immer unterschiedliche Bewegung am Handgelenk ist das Tourbillon in Armbanduhren jedoch eher als technische Spielerei zu sehen und nicht als wirklich sinnvolle Uhrenkomplikation. Bei Taschenuhren gilt dies nicht.
