customer aquisition manager

My comment:

In my opinion, all other auggestions before include other/more/different tasks and are therefore not the correct terms.

"lobbyist" is a term typically reserved for politics. A company sends a lobbyist to Capitol Hill (in the USA) to advocate for legislation favorable to the company. (This has nothing to do with acquiring customers.)

salesman / account manager

My comment:

depending on the field ... if the company has "accounts' (= customers) the account manager (not the boss) deals with the (same) client; if it is a sales type organization you would call it a salesman (alwyas looking for new customers)
