My comment:

I searched several sites and did't find any specific acronym for peripheral insulin sensitivity, but there was IS or Insulin Sensivity, I suppose you could say PIS or Peripheral Insulin Sensitivity

My comment:

the term "peripheral insulin sensitivity" is used in full in multiple references (health journals), therefore we can assume there is no acronym as in Spanish.
