Neobican mac

My comment:

Drzao je svoj neobican mac

Bastard ovom kontekstu znaci i odnosi se na nesto sto je van standarda tj. neobicno

The asker's comment:

A Bastard Sword is some kind of a "hybrid" between a twohanded broadsword and a singlehanded longsword. That's what a "Bastard" stands for. Neobican simply won't do, because it's strictly medieval military term, and I'm interested in a possibility in existing of a single term in Serbian that describes it. E.G. battleaxe(bradva in Serbian).
