My comment:

NVQ - in the UK "National Vocational Qualification", is the closest equivalent to the German system of Ausbildungsberufe

This is the best suggestion since it is a) the only one to include carpenter ( though joiner would be better for Tischler, carpenter also meaning Zimmermann) b) Apprentice final exam would be wrong as journeyman is higher than apprentice.
