Collin Berry (a guest user) asked this question:

Language pair:

English > Arabic

Subject:

Other

Level of diffculty:

Easy / medium

Word or term in question:

Our Father

Context:

name of the prayer "our father

Keywords:

prayer

ÃÈÇäÇ

My comment:

This is the word normally used by Arab Christian in their prayers. However, many people believe that it should be "ÑÈäÇ" (Our Lord), because in Aramaic, the word means both "father" and Lord", as should be expected of a patriarchal society.

The asker's comment:

i dont know for sure if this is the arabic symbol way to spell it but it looks close to symbols, thank you for your time. i really appreciate it
